Q: What is a music chef?
A: 1) Anyone who is looking to incorporate music into his/her cooking or eating activities - we make this possible through our cookbook -
and
2) EVERYONE who is willing to sharpen their food presentation skills and try new recipes designed to tantalize tastebuds!
Q: Is this cookbook for advanced chefs?
A: Not at all! We administered a cooking survey before finalizing our book, and it seems that the average person prefers to follow easy to moderately challenging recipes. Therefore, we have adapted the book accordingly. The more challenging recipes are only meant to try when you have time to get kitchen crazy.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping is free. You pay $17.95 flat for each copy of My Music Cookbook.
Q: What if I am not satisfied with the cookbook?
A: All sales are final. We do not allow refunds or returns unless the product is damaged - in this case, we will gladly exchange your book.
COOKING NOTES
Q: There seems to be a missing measurement in the Chocolate Truffle Triads recipe. How much sugar do I add to make the truffles?
A: We apologize. One batch of cookbooks, in fact, had a typo in the Chocolate Truffle Triads recipe. It says to add sugar, but a measurement is not included in the ingredients list. The missing measurement is 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar, which should be added after the cocoa powder. We corrected as many cookbooks as we could, but some had already reached customers before we noticed there was a missing measurement. Future printing batches will be updated!
Q: How do you keep chocolate designs from melting?
A: We recommend refrigerating the designs on wax paper until you are ready to decorate your dish. Also, adding confectioners' sugar to your melted chocolate will help the shapes hold better at room temperature.
Q: What pairs well with making mini quiches as suggested in your cookbook?
A: Depending on the type of event, you can serve them with wine OR a nice spritzer drink. These bite-sized treats would also work well with cheese fondue!
COOKING SUGGESTION:
Use a plastic Ziplock bag to pipe designs and icing onto cakes and cookies!
